Christopher Alan Helme (born 22 July 1971) is an English singer and songwriter. He was the lead singer of the rock band the Seahorses from their formation in 1996. Formed by guitarist John Squire after his departure from the Stone Roses, they split after musical differences during recording sessions in January 1999 for a planned follow-up from their only album, Do It Yourself (1997).
